Saigon – Can Tho – Saigon

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Can Tho (L,D)

We drive about 2 hours to the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, you board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful view of the Mekong river. Your visit include a floating fish farm, where villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp, traditional workshops – witness a step by step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming…Enjoy what local people offer as they hand – rowed your sampan along the shady, breezy canal.

Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant before we drive to Can Tho for an overnight stay.

Upon arrival Can Tho, we check in to a rustic homestay. Take a rest and enjoy a peaceful time within the authentic village.

Challenge yourself with cooking a traditional southern dish guided by your friendly host. Then, enjoy your wonderful dinner. Good night !

Day 2: Can Tho – Floating market – Ho Chi Minh city (B,L)

Get up early in the morning, then have breakfast before taking a motor-boat along the river Cai Rang floating market, the largest of its kind, where colorful boats carrying juicy fruits and vegetables gather for daily exchanging. Then we continue the cruise and walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to residents as they go about their daily routines, we visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and gardens of tropical fruit like papaya, mango, pineapple.

A short time of cycling around the village will give you a fantastic way to experience local life.

We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city, stopping at a local restaurant along the way for lunch. Tour ends at your hotel.
